HOW TO KEEP THE RODENTS FROM DAMAGING YOUR PIPEWORK.

If you suspect that you may have a rodent problem, then we recommend that you contact an exterminator to help you with this problem.

If you aren't sure that rodents are causing damage to your water pipes, the next best solution is to get us to inspect the water pipes and see the damage with our own eyes.

In the meantime, you can lay out some bowls (like pet bowls) of water. Then, if the rodents have easy access to water, they won't necessarily be chewing through your pipes to get to that water.

THE PROBLEM:

The homeowner had a pressure test completed by the local council which, came back with a positive result; they turned the water off and called Adams straight away. They had narrowed the leak to a wall between the bathroom and the bedroom at the property.

ADAMS' SOLUTION:

Our Adams plumber called to the site to investigate the leak. The plumber traced the leak back to the bedroom. To access the leaking pipe, they had to remove a section of the wall and floor. The plumber rodents had damaged the leaking pipe. He then removed the damaged pipework and capped it off to stop any further leak from the pipes!
