WET FLOOR

THE PROBLEM:

A property manager called our plumbing department in our Cromwell branch in Central Otago; they needed someone to investigate the wet floor in the kitchen, the bathroom backs onto the kitchen.

ADAMS' SOLUTION:

Our Plumber called to the site; they investigated the hot water cylinder that was located above the kitchen and checked the pipework around it; they accessed the pipework and waste pipe under the floor, and no leaks were found. On further investigation, the floorboards in the hot water cupboard and under the bath were wet; it appeared that the water was coming down the side of the bath and leaking onto the floor and dripping through the timber due to the shower curtain being used outside the bathtub. Our plumber recommended a builder attend and assess the damage.
